Joe and Franziska are building a rustic ranch in Sacramento.

Another big year of progress!

The first building is a guest cottage -- basically a big kitchen with a tiny bedroom.

The second building is a workshop and hub for the various activities that take place around Hidden Groves.

After we've got two buildings under our belt, we'll build the 1200 square foot home, starting Spring 2026.

A log of how the first couple of years went down at Hidden Groves.

Our neighbor annexed some 21 feet of our driveway land back in 2020, causing years of legal stress -- now happily resolved!
