We won our lawsuit with the neighbor, but he failed to pay the judgment. We fired our lawyers (expensive!) and started pursuing enforcement ourselves. We also finished the stucco on the Back House.

We knocked down the neighbor’s fence, which had intruded 21 feet into our driveway.

We got a cute electric mower. Our gas mowers have been unreliable with the level of abuse we give them on three acres.

We installed a gravel driveway. In the future we won’t be slogging through mud. Mira and Joe also road-tripped to the eclipse in Arkansas.

Bathroom vents and other electrical installed.

Our Kiowa blackberries are huge.

At Easter our guests painted a mural for the Back House entrance, designed by John Chase Williams.

Finished most of the insulation in the Back House.

Finished the media room in the Back House, for video games and movies.
