Hidden Groves is our three-acre home in Citrus Heights. We’re building places to live and gather, growing food, making art, and figuring out what kind of community we want to share. This is our running diary of life here.

The first building is a guest cottage -- basically a big kitchen with a tiny bedroom.

The second building is a workshop and hub for the various activities that take place around Hidden Groves.
Front House

We began construction of the Front House in Spring 2026.
When the Front House is done, its rooms will be open to residents who want to be members of our community.
Our neighbor annexed some 21 feet of our driveway land back in 2020, causing years of legal stress -- now happily resolved!
